Australia has some of the most dangerous beaches in the world. We created a way to get to those in trouble faster. The MiniRipper drone is designed to be a first response to swimmers in trouble, by flying above the rough waves to drop an inflatable device to keep swimmers alive, while surf life savers follow in the rescue. Westpac sponsors the Westpac Helicopter service in Australia, which offers assistance to those in need along Australia’s dangerous coastline. This Mini Ripper is a cheap and effective extension to the great service already offered by Westpac.
